Description
Micron Superior capsule is a capsulated, prefilled, radiopaque Glass lonomer Cement for restoration of primary teeth, core build up, restoration of class III, V and limited class I cavities.
Sustained release and recharge of fluoride ions provides an anticariogenic property. Accurate powder/ liquid ratio ensues a homogenous mix, resulting in optimal physical properties.
Indications :
- Permanent class III, class V restorations and small class I fillings
- Restoration of deciduous teeth (especially class I)
- Restoration of smaller lesions
- Fissure sealing
- Filling of cervical erosions
- Fillings prior to crown preparation
Contraindications :
- Diect Pulp Capping
- In rare cases, the product may cause sensitivity to some persons. If such reactions are experienced, discontinue the use of product and refer to a physician.

Working time – 1:30 minutes from the start of mixing at 23°C (73.4°F)
Setting time – 2:00 to 2:20 minutes.

Storage Conditions : Store at temperature between 10°C to 24°C. Close the cap carefully after use. Keep away from moisture. Shelf life not affected after opening if stored in a cool dry place.
Shelf Life : 3 years from the date of manufacturing.

Direction to Use
1) Prepare tooth using standard techniques. Extensive mechanical retention is not necessary.
2) Wash and dry but do not dessicate. Micron Dentin Conditioner is recommended to remove the smear layer.
3) Tap the capsule on a hard surface to loosen the powder.
4) To activate the capsule push the plunger onto a stable surface until it flushes with the body of the capsule.
5) Immediately place the activated capsule in a capsule mixer (2900-3000 oscillations/ minute) and mix for 10 seconds.
6) Immediately remove the mixed capsule from the mixer and attach the applicator nozzle before loading onto the Capsule Applier.
7) Click the trigger of the applier until glass ionomer paste is seen through the clear nozzle.
8) Extrude cement into the cavity, being careful not to trap air under the restoration. Higher temperatures will shorten working time.
9) Form the contour.
10) Working time is 1:30 minutes from the start of mixing at 23°C (73.4°F). Net Setting time is 2:00 to 2:20 minutes.
